Therapy Goats
Our therapy goats are at the heart of the farm. Naturally social and affectionate, they invite interaction through gentle play, quiet companionship, and comforting touch. Many enjoy walking alongside visitors, resting across a lap for petting, or standing close during moments of reflection. Their playful spirit can spark joy, while their calm presence helps ease anxiety and promote relaxation.
Livestock Guardian Dog
Our Livestock Guardian Dog offers steady companionship and reassurance. Always nearby, this gentle dog welcomes visitors with warmth and affection, providing a consistent sense of safety and connection. For many, the simple act of petting a calm, loving dog brings grounding and comfort.
Our Barn Cat - Kit Kat
Kit Kat's main job is to keep the barn clear of unwanted rodents, but she may come up to you for some love. She is sweet and sassy!
Care for Animals & People
Every therapy animal at Barnyard Haven of Hope receives basic training appropriate to their species and is supported with attentive care, rest, and respect. Coco Bella
Nigerian Dwarf Goat | “Queen of the Herd”
Coco Bella is the quiet leader of the herd. Thoughtful and observant, she prefers to stand back and take in her surroundings before stepping forward. She approaches new situations with caution, but once trust is established, Coco Bella forms deep, meaningful connections.
Her calm presence is especially comforting for individuals who need time, space, and reassurance. Coco Bella has a gentle way of standing nearby, offering quiet companionship that feels steady and safe. She reminds visitors that trust grows at its own pace—and that it is worth the wait.

Nigerian Dwarf Goat | The Welcoming Committee
Carmello is Coco Bella’s brother and the farm’s most enthusiastic greeter. Friendly, affectionate, and full of charm, he loves people of all ages and is often the first to approach visitors.
Carmello thrives on interaction—he enjoys being petted, talked to, and sharing moments of connection. His joyful personality brings smiles and laughter, helping visitors feel immediately at ease. Carmello’s role is simple but powerful: to make everyone feel welcome the moment they arrive.
Hershey Kiss
Myotonic Goat | A Very Special Beginning
Hershey Kiss is a truly special member of the Barnyard Haven of Hope family. Born on December 29, 2025, he was a joyful surprise and the farm’s very first baby goat. Coming from a different farm, his arrival marked a meaningful milestone in the growth of Barnyard Haven of Hope.
With his gentle demeanor and endearing presence, Hershey Kiss represents new beginnings and the quiet hope that comes with them. As he grows, he continues to bring warmth, curiosity, and a sense of wonder to all who meet him.
